My First Mother’s Day

Fast forward to present day. 

It’s my first Mother’s Day and Heaven’s truly here. I had no idea Mother’s Day was like a second birthday. It feels like I won a lottery. I am a mom!!!!!!!

For a while, despite all the Bible verses, pep talks and prayers, it seemed I would never have a day like this. 

So, I am immensely grateful and humbled.  I am here simply because of God’s Grace.  

So, if you’re hoping and sometimes have doubts, I was there too. Hold on as long as you can to the little hope you have. It’s ok not be super strong and courageous all the time. A little goes a long way. Remember what they said about even having faith as small as a mustard seed? Sprinkle a little faith in your situation today but don’t let that moment of weakness or doubt get you down either. Pick up where you left off cause God’s right there with you to carry you along. 

Also, don’t be alone. Nothing is new under the sun. What you’re going through, a few other women have probably experienced it too. So, if you can, reach out to someone or me. Just don’t be alone if you need support. 

Ephesians 3:20

“Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us”

Finally, if you’re a mom already, I hope you’re patting yourself on the back today  because you’re amazing!!!
